The RHC-200ATC is a versatile and economical portable refractometer used in clinical applications. The RHC-200ATC's tri-scale allows for accurate readings with minimal effort on the operator's part. Automatic temperature compensation (or ATC) allows for accurate readings in fluctuating environments (like outdoors); units without ATC will be more inaccurate the further away from 68°F the temperature becomes. Ideal for testing blood or urine in clinical laboratories or in field settings with humans or animals. This unit is not FDA approved. The RHC-200ATC is made of sturdy machine aluminum with durable plastic eyepiece and knurled finger grip. No batteries necessary, this unit needs only sunlight or indoor lighting for accurate readings. This unit should last a lifetime! |
