The Brake-Chek is a portable, easy-to-use tool for checking boiling point and water content of DOT3 and DOT4 brake fluids.  This instrument's high performance optical design and is 10x focusable eyepiece gives incredible image resolution and provides high contrast for easy viewing of scales.  To use, simply open the sample cover, place a couple drops of brake fluid on the prism and close the cover.  Hold the Brake-Chek perpendicular to a light source and look into the eyepiece.  The eyepiece is focusable and is designed for easy use even when wearing glasses.  The reading is taken at the shadow line (where the light and dark options meet on the scale).

The BC3 is designed to test DOT3 and Racing DOT3 fluids.  The BC4 is designed for DOT4 and Super DOT4 fluids.
