The dual-scale RHS-10ATC is a
versatile and economical portable salinity refractometer used in a variety
of marine applications. The RHS-10ATC's 0-100 ppt scale with 1 ppt
intervals and 1.000 to 1.070 specific gravity scale with 0.001 intervals
allows for accurate readings and minimal effort on the operator's part.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (or "ATC") allows for accurate readings
in fluctuating environments (like outdoors); units WITHOUT ATC will be more
inaccurate the further away from 68°F the temperature becomes. The
unit is ideal for testing reef tank aquariums, ponds & other marine
habitats. The RHS-10ATC is made of sturdy machined aluminum with durable plastic eyepiece and knurled finger grip. It comes in a blue plastic, foam-lined hard case with calibration screwdriver, pipette and operation manual. No batteries necessary; this unit needs only sunlight or indoor lighting for accurate readings. Unit comes with a 1 Year Warranty against manufacturer's defects.
