Wherever your turbidity monitoring demands take you, the Models 800 and 800-P provides convenient, reliable readings in both a laboratory setting or in the field. Accurately reading the amount of reflected light at 90 degrees to the incident angle of a light source, the reflected light is proportional to the amount of suspended particles in your sample.
With only two controls, zero and range, the meters are very easy to operate. Both models have two full-scale ranges, 20 and 200 NTU's (nephelometric turbidity units). The AC adapter, supplied with both units, can be used for 120-volt operation in the lab or with the rechargeable battery for the Model 800-P for field operation.
With each charge, the 12 volt sealed battery provides 90 minutes continuous use or the power to test approximately 180 random samples. To recharge, use the same AC adapter used to operate the Model 800-P in your lab.
The Model 800-P is supplied with AmcoClear for making a standardizing solution, a filter/syringe assembly for producing a turbidity-free reference, six sample vials, an AC adapter, a briefcase size carrying case, and a 12 volt sealed battery. For calibration convenience, 0 NTU and 10 NTU secondary, sealed, polymer standards are also provided. The Model 800 comes with AmcoClear for making a standardizing solution, a filter/syringe assembly for producing a turbidity-free reference, six sample vials and AC adapter. The 0 NTU and 10 NTU are optional accessories for the Model 800.
